My Story
After 17 years of military service, I decided to take a leap of faith and apply for a career intermission. That’s right! I wanted an adult gap year. Spoiler Alert: It was approved. This is the story of how I made a radical decision and an honest look at how it all went down. Stay tuned for the ups and downs that come along with stepping away from the only life I’ve known since before I was of drinking age with the intent to take better care of myself, be a blessing to others, live a simpler life, and heal from occupational burnout.
