As we roll into Thanksgiving week, let's save today for gratefulness.
According to Webster's dictionary, Gratefulness is expressing gratitude, grateful thanks.
Yes, I know you may be thinking, "I do this every day. " Yes, you may do this daily, but nothing is wrong with being intentional about it today. You can also use today to encourage others to slow down and highlight everything they are grateful for.
If you have had difficulty finding things to be grateful for, use today as a jumpstart to find something to be grateful for amid the busyness, chaos, and daily activities.
Here are a few ways to get started so you don't get overwhelmed:
1. Start off small. Gratefulness moments don't have to take 30 minutes or a few hours. You can express gratitude in five minutes or less. 🙂
2. Include your community. Enlist your family and friends, and have fun expressing your gratitude.
3. Make a list. Write down the things you are grateful for and review them often. Your list will serve as a great reminder of the good things in your life.
I am excited to hear how you saved Sunday for gratitude!
Remember, it is okay to save something for you.
Enjoy your day! 😊🌻💋
